“Gießen #UpInTheAir in 360” is a VR-style 360° aerial showcase of the Gießen region in Hesse, Germany. It’s composed entirely of drone footage—shot in the first twenty days of February 2018—with timelapse, slow-motion, and a few special-effects passages. The piece was created as the filmmaker’s entry for the #UpInTheAir contest to introduce Gießen to a wider audience; viewers can pan the frame (or use a headset) to look around freely.
